We are at Nickerson State Park in Cape Cod. It is mostly tent camping, although the sites are
huge, at times it can be tricky getting a trailer into the sites. You walk to the closest gazebo and there are
trails leading down to the ponds, which are like small lakes. Very clean.
Apparently salmon and trout, but we didn’t catch any!

A story: Today my mom decided to take us
on the store on our bikes. Then when we
got on the path, she said, we’re alomost there, just a couple more
minutes. 5 miles later, we were still
biking. There were some pretty big
hills with signs on them that said Danger, steep hill, use at own risk. Trent and I started speeding down the hill,
and at the end of it were very sharp turns.
When we were going down the hill about 7 bikers were going up at the
turn, and Trent slammed on the brakes and went into the bush and I slammed on
my back brakes and everyone started looking at me and I did a 360 around
someone, and went into the bush. The
moral of the story is: look at the hill
before you go down it, or you might have an accident.
Then it took us about an hour to
get to the store. When we were
about 1 minute there, Trent turned
around and went home. Then it was just
me and my mom. We went to the store and
I got lots of candy and freezies and then we had a huge bike up the hills. Moral of the story is: never give up.
There are very nice ponds here
which have lots of fish in them and my brother got a new reel, which is a
baitcaster. He went to go try it and it
was awesome. He can shoot like 100
feet. Trent is fishing now with Dad in
the pond.
Got lobster – at the end we had
butter up to our elbows!
Went to the usual great
places. Rock Harbour for the sunset - although it was a cloudy day. The Lobster Claw restaurant – where we liked
to eat scallops, baked scallops, fried clams and tonnes of seafood. Tried everything! Nauset Beach – it was a cloudy day. Saw a huge group of seals going by. We got lobster.
