Back to Frontiertown, Ocean City, Maryland! Yee Ha!

Assateague State Park on a really hot day!
Fishing on the pier, beside the bridge to Assateague
Frontiertown:   Last time we really experienced the magic of the ponies by staying at Assateague National Park for a few nights – but also experienced the bugs, the heat, etc.
This years wild horses at Assateague!
But it was worth it.   This year we did drive through the State Park and may stay there in a couple of years.   But decided to stay at Frontiertown as it is close to Assateague and Ocean City!

I love the dog park at Frontiertown!

But, Frontiertown is still great. Crabs were not as plentiful this year, but still lots of fun to try to catch. We did get a few. The waterpark, although small, is still a great place to cool off on a very, hot day.
The waterpark is a great place to cool off on a super hot day!

-cons: brutally slow internet, busy, busy, busy, cold showers

-pros: lots for kids to do, well taken care of, friendly, going to the Ocean City Boardwalk! Thrashers fries! Mug and Mallet crabs! Assateague Horses! Great dog park!

Greatest go-karting track ever on our Route – Grand Prix! Ocean City- best tracks, and wristband lets you ride for two hours!

Great day at Ocean City Beach – hot days, cool nights... huge waves! Lots of fun.

Great days at Ocean City beach!

Exciting last night when they were catching sharks off the pier!

There was a bird on my dog, Sarge's back, the bird was reallly cute. It was a baby blue-jay,we named him.... J.J He clung to Sarge's back, J.J sat there for about 10 minutes. J.J finally hoped off Sarge, and he sat in the open in a little ball. We made J.J a nest, and tried to get him in it. We lifted J.J into the box. I left the campground for about 2hour's, when i got back the blue jay was in a little ball inside the nest that we hade made for him. I tried to feed it some worms, but it did not eat anything. J.J steeped there all night, but in the morning J.J was gone.

This looks like a good place for a nest!
