Customer Service is everything!
Sometimes the unexpected happens, and it can be stressful! Kudos to
the following campgrounds – when we had a medical emergency they
were SO understanding about cancelling and refunding money – they
showed that they truly cared about their campers and not just making
money. Otter Lake Camping, Pennsylvania, KOA Cape Hatteras, and
Twin Grove RV Resort, Pennsylvania. We might not have made it this time,
but because of your excellent customer service, we will definitely
make sure we get to your campgrounds soon and will send our friends!
We are two brothers, Will and Trent, who enjoy travelling in our RV. We have been travelling all around North America and want to share our adventures. We will write about new campsites and lots of different activities. This began through the eyes of a 10 and 11 year old, with a little assistance from Mom. A couple years later, now becoming teenagers, we are still using this as a way to share our memories of our travels and our Dad's great photos. Enjoy, and feel free to add any comments!

Green Lakes State Park, near Syracuse, New York
The 2014 Summer Adventure begins! 5 weeks with a big loop down to North Carolina! First stop is Green Lakes State Park, Fayetteville, New York. It is a gorgeous little town to dirve through, with beautiful homes and shops.
Nice, big grassy sites. We were in Rolling Hills - site 106, higher up and farther from the beach, but big, grassy sites.
Will - the lake is a gorgeous green colour because of the calcium cabronate. There were lots of places to bike - big hills! There is a giant lake to walk around and a nice beach. Mom's great idea to walk around the lake - long walk! Tonnes of joggers and walkers.
No ticks to be seen - thank goodness! Lots of blackberries though which involved jumping into the bushes.
Very sweet tow vehicle! Much better on the hills of New York and Pennsylvania! Headed south now - time to find the hot weather! only about 70 in New York!
What the heck? In Canada, diesel is the cheapest gas -cheaper than regular - here it is the most expensive! $4.25/gallon - who would have thought?
