Delaware Seashore State Park, Rehoboth Beach, Delaware

Delaware Seashore State Park: 1,000 hits! Thanks to whoever is reading this!!!

Stayed at Delaware Seashore State Park.  We also drove into Cape Henlopen to fish at the pier.

basically a parking lot - but.... we had a tree!

Delaware Seashore, the beach across the street from the campground!

This park is basically a parking lot. We had site 304, which had little traffic and the only two trees in the whole park. But... the beaches nearby are gorgeous. Bethany Beach is a really nice, clean little boardwalk/beach area. There is surf fishing, and fishing in the river right from the campground. Bathrooms are clean and fairly new. Park is quiet at night. Short drive to Rehoboth Beach and all the shopping, so definitely some pluses.
Hit a good sale at the outlets at Rehoboth Beach!
Love going into that area. Also drove to Bethany Beach, and walked around that little boardwalk/beach area. Just gorgeous. Neat and clean. It would be hard to stay at this campground in a tent or tent trailer, and is mostly large motorcoaches/fifth wheels. We were here during a heat wave, and it helps to run the air. We had stayed at Cape Henlopen before, without power and air, and really felt it, and also had a major tick infestation, which kept us away this time. We did drive there and fish off the pier, which is the greatest fishing in the area.

Cape Henlopen: The greatest pier in the world! You can crank in the fish! The perfect campground would be a mix between Cape Henlopen and Delaware Seashore....
A man gave Trent all these sand fleas for fishing. Sand fleas look like little crabs, about an inch long, that have a shell all the way around them, so they have lots of armour. We went to a Delaware Beach, and Trent was fishing and using them. My mom was lying down on a blanket, and she was asleep. So I thought, maybe I should take some sand fleas and put them on my mom's back. Before that day, she was giving me massages, so she thought it was a massage. Until Trent put one down my mom's bathingsuit and she felt the legs crawl on her. Then she realized it was a sand flea. She screamed. We laughed....
It's all fun and games, until someone puts a sand flea down your back!
The car story: Trent and Dad went down to go fishing. Me and my mom were supposed to come down at sunset in the truck to take pictures. So me and my mom got into the truck and started it up. She drove straight into a pole. There were no dents in the truck, but a few scratches. The neighbours said, “no one saw that....” but when we came back my mom had to park in a small area with a tree next to it. She drove into the parking spot and there was a branch about 3 inches long. The branch screeched and scratched across the top...   Mom got in trouble~

Bridge lit up at night beside Delaware Seashore
